Mouna wants to move!

Meet Mouna! Mouna is a long-tailed macaque monkey in Mauritius - an island in the Indian Ocean that's best known as the home of the extinct dodo.
We don't want Mouna to be like the dodo! But it might happen. He's lived in this little cage, day and night, summer and winter, for about seven years. Mouna’s house is in full sunlight and in summer the heat is blistering. It has no windows so his only glimpse of the outside world is through the door that you see in the photo. He hasn't been out since he was a baby!
But you can help.
Mouna has had a purpose-built, beautiful, new home designed for him by the Head Vet of P.A.W.S., Dr. Sam, a specialist in primates. It is planned that his new abode will be sited in the shade, amongst the trees in his owner’s garden and will be approx. 3m x 3m x 3m, with a sheltered secure area for him to withdraw into whenever he likes or needs.
We need your support to help Moun. We need to raise funds for the materials and construction of Mouna’s new home. If you would like to contribute, please make a donation to the person who gave you this flyer to read.
Dr. Sam says Mouna would not survive in the wild after so many years in captivity. Mouna can stay with the family, in familiar grounds, and Dr. Sam will visit them periodically to check on his health and to advise the family. He has also provided specifications for the new home, and we have already commissioned a tradesman to do the work. The tradesman can complete the work in only three weeks, once he has the cash!
Thank you for taking time to read to the end.
Please give generously. Your money will not be wasted.
